Wind Turbine TechnoSystem is a wind energy generation system made up of small turbines that aims to increase the supply of clean energy, especially to rural areas, and contribute to the supply of electricity to American homes.
Our goal is to use technology to generate electricity in rural areas using the aerodynamic force produced by the rotor blades of a wind turbine, which operate similarly to an airplane wing or a helicopter rotor blade, converting wind energy into electricity
Small Wind turbines can represent great savings both for the US citizens' economy and also for the environment
Along with solar energy, wind energy represents the future of power generation. It's cleaner, cheaper, and more technological
● When wind flows across the blade, the air pressure on one side of the blade decreases.
● Both lift and drag are produced by the difference in air pressure between the two sides of the blade.
● The rotor spins because the lift force is greater than the drag force.
● A smaller generator is powered by the connection between the rotor and the generator, which speeds up rotation and produces energy when the aerodynamic force is converted.
● The so-called yaw systems allow the turbine rotor to steer according to the wind direction, as the rotor only starts working when the wind reaches a speed of over 10 km/h, while above 90 km/h the wind turbine stops for safety reasons.
● This results in an effective local grid and serves the energy needs of rural communities while also making agricultural production more affordable due to the low operating costs.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, in 2021, the U.S. wind sector added 13,413 megawatts (MW) of additional wind capacity, bringing the overall total to 135,886 MW. This represents an investment of $20 billion and is the second highest amount of wind capacity built in a single year (behind 2020). Over 9% of the nation's power comes from wind, over 50% in Iowa and South Dakota, and over 30% in Kansas, Oklahoma, and North Dakota.
